Inter-Club Activities

There are some activities that are jointly carried out by the six Rotary clubs of Prince Edward Island.

• 2010 Gold Cup Parade - Island Rotary clubs take turns entering the Rotary float in the Gold Cup Parade and Santa Claus Parade in Charlottetown and the Lobster Festival Parade in Summerside. In 2010 it was the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty's turn to enter the float in the Gold Cup Parade.

• Rotary Youth Parliament

The 2010 Gold Cup Parade

In August, 2010, the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty entered the Rotary float in the annual Gold Cup Parade in Charlottetown. The theme of the parade was "The ABC's" so the Rotary float took up the 'R' position.

On the float were participants of the Special Olympic team that participated in the Special Olympic games in London, Ontario.

The Rotary Clubs of P.E.I. hosted the 22nd annual Rotary Youth Parliament on February 19-20, 2010 at Province House. Students from all High Schools on P.E.I. represented Government and Opposition members and debated Acts and Resolutions on topics of current interest on P.E.I.
